Alexandre Cabral


Biographic Notes
Research and Development in the fields of optical instrumentation for astronomy, optical metrology for space instrumentation, holography and diffractive optics for security applications. Within these fields, activity has been focused on:

  • design, implementation and test of optical systems for space and astronomy applications (ESO, ESA);
  • optical metrology, focused on length metrology in relative mode with heterodyne detection and in absolute mode using synthetic wavelength generation techniques for space applications (ESA);
  • holography and diffractive optical elements for security applications (research, development and prototyping of optical security production systems).
