Abstract
The combination of radial velocity and astrometry methods and GAIA high-precision global astrometric measurements will strongly benefit the extra-solar planet research because it will allow us to derive more precise parameters.
Here we presented the two methods distinctly, explaining them and plotting the expected RV curve of HD162020b and its expected astrometric orbital motion.
