Asteroseismology and Exoplanets: Listening to the Stars and Searching for New Worlds
IVth Azores International Advanced School in Space Sciences

The School will take place in the town of Horta, located in the island of Faial. Faial is one of the nine islands that make up the archipelago of the Azores, situated in the North Atlantic Ocean about 1,360 km (850 mi) west of mainland Portugal.

All participants of the School (lecturers and students) will be staying at the four-star Faial Resort Hotel, where the School will also take place. The hotel is located very near Horta’s famous harbor, with a unique view to the neighboring island of Pico and its dormant volcano.

You may download here a PDF file containing information on the restaurants available in the area close to the venue.
