How to reach the city from the airport
The international airport of Lisbon – Aeroporto Humberto Delgado – is located inside the city and it has a subway stop, bus stops and taxi stop. So it’s easy to reach the city center quickly and comfortably, at any time.

Public transport (bus and subway)
In subway station, you need to buy a VIVA transporting card (0,50€) on the vending machine and charge it. The VIVA Travel Cards or 7 Colinas can be loaded with the following types of transport tickets:
  • Single travel ticket valid on each operator’s network
  • 24 hour ticket - 6,15€
  • Pre-purchased tickets
  • Zapping rate
This allows you to use the transportation card in:
  • subway 1,45€ vending machine
  • bus 1,45€ vending machine or 1,85€ buy on the bus
  • tram 2,90€
  • urban train and ferry
Taxi to the city center is around 10€ and it takes you about 15-20mins to get to the majority of hotels and venue FCUL ( Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon) – 5€/6€.

Getting to the venue
By subway (opens at 6.30 am until 1.00 am)
The closest metro stations are Campo Grande (green and yellow lines) and Cidade Universitária (yellow line). From those, walk to the venue following the maps below.

From the airport: take the red line Aeroporto and change to the green line in Alameda. Get out in Campo Grande.

By Bus
There are many bus stops in the surroundings and a bus terminal in Campo Grande (5min walking distance). The best strategy is to ask google for the best bus to take from your location or access the website

By Taxi
Ask to get to the “Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa” or “FCUL”. Uber and Cabify also works in the city of Lisbon.
From the airport: It takes about 15 min (traffic dependent) and it will likely cost about 5€ or 6€ (there are extra fees to this if you put luggage in the truck). The best choice to get a taxi at the airport is to take one from in front of the Departures.
