Abstract
I recently attended this year's edition of the Astro Hack Week, in New York. This is not a standard conference or summer school, but instead tries to bring together researchers from many areas and with different expertise, in order to build new projects and solve some emerging scientific questions. I will describe how the meeting unfolded and interesting results that can come out of the "hack" concept.
