Abstract
In this talk, I present on-going work on technique for detecting rings
around exoplanets. It explores using transit photometry and Radial
velocity to investigate exoplanetary rings. More emphasis is placed on
high precision Radial Velocity as the Rossiter McLauglin anomaly induced
by the rings of a transiting planet together with the transit light
curve provides a way to characterise the effect of rings. This work
employs numerical methods to show the detectability of exoplanetary
rings using state-of-the-art instruments by investigating residuals
between the ring planet signals and best fit ringless planet model for
different orientations of the ring.
