Biographic Notes
Vitor Costa received the "Licenciatura" from the University of Porto in 1991, the M.Sc. in Astronomy in 1995 and the PhD from the same University in 2000.

Since 1992 he was a Assistant at the Department of Mathematics of the Engineering Polytechnic University of Porto where he is currently a Assistant-Professor. He is a member of the project "Stellar Astrophysics".

Current research interests focus on young stars, early stages of evolution, and stellar activity, including multi wavelength observations (mainly UV and X-ray).
